HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A recently formed tropical storm has gained strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is currently located about 250 miles southeast of the coast of California. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will grow in power over the next few days. The storm is heading westward at a rate of 10 mph.
